What is phpMyAdmin?
phpMyAdmin is a web-based database management user interface ideal for managing MySQL databases and firmly integrated with our clients' InterWorx web hosting control panel. phpMyAdmin can be used for a variety of purposes you would expect from a database management tool. What can I do with it?
It can be said that Microsoft Access is to the desktop database administrator as phpMyAdmin is to the website database administrator. phpMyAdmin's web-based user interface takes a little while to get used to, and while it's not literally as hands-on with MySQL and Access is with Jet databases, it will provide all of the same functions. phpMyAdmin will allow the database manager to view all tables, rows, and columns, and manipulate them with basic SQL querying. phpMyAdmin will also provide for a simple interface to input SQL queries directly to the MySQL DBMS, and to dump a complete SQL query for an entire database.
